I also have another outstanding freebie you can use with your little learners. Check it out HERE.

Pumpkin Book Reports & MORE!

Thanks to Jennifer over at Simply Kinder, my class did pumpkin book reports for the first time ever! She has the book reports posted FREE here.

Since I don't have a whole lot of room in my classroom, these were displayed in our library. I had 5 students a day bring in their pumpkins and present their reports. They did an absolutely amazing job!

If you have been wondering where I have been....well read below.
School and this guy have been keeping me super busy! We basically rescued him. His previous owner was going to take him to the pound because she was moving to a place that didn't accept dogs. Call me crazy but how could you leave this guy? He is absolutely perfect and he completes our fur baby family. We are up to 4 dogs now....yes 4! We are crazy...I know.

I snapped this pic as I was leaving with my mom today. I wish it would've came out brighter. All 4 dogs are in the window! It was the cutest thing ever!
Be Bulletin Board
Besides taking care of our new fur baby, I also managed to post this new product, the Be Bulletin Board + Bonus Activity. I included the white background shown above or a chalkboard background.

I absolutely love walking into our classroom. I hear the kids using these words all the time now. It's a permanent word wall that they utilize daily in their conversations and especially in their writing. Speaking of writing.........
Ultimate Writing Station 2 in action
If you are a fan of the first Ultimate Writing Station...you will die when you see the new one! My students are testing out my newest pages right now. After I have my own class test all of them out as well as a class in each grade level (K-4), I will post it in my store. I can't wait to release this new unit. It has been a work in progress for well over a year now! Yikes! I work so slow!

After Fall Break, we will star our handprint calendar. I made a ton of updates for this year! This is such an incredible gift and treasured keepsake for parents. These are my nuggets from last year. I just used butcher paper and washi tape and they were able to wrap their own calendars and even decorated the front.

I Have/Who Has with Freebielicious

My reward coupons set 1 & set 2 are the best thing I have ever created for my students. I will never ever go back to any other behavior program ever! You can see me discuss my reward coupons and how I use warm fuzzies on Periscope and Youtube now. I really am trying to offer you free classroom management tips with my quirky personality so maybe it is not so boring. I dread professional development unless it is my choice. So I am offering you the choice to join me for some new tips and tricks for the school year.

I recently bundled my reward coupons (coupons only) after a zillion requests that I just never get to. In the process of compressing this insanely large file I believe I gave myself a computer virus...so you're welcome.

I am offering it for a major steal because it is the coupons only. There are 120 different choices with only a few repeats between each set. Please read the description and NO they are not editable. With 120 options, you will not use all of these choices, they all might not fit your needs. Keep in mind that in this you will not get the full page coupon choices, management tips, implementation ideas or organizational tips.

Monday Made It (Focus Wall)

http://4thgradefrolics.blogspot.com/2015/07/monday-made-it-july-27-crunch-time.html
I am joining one of my all time favorite bloggers, Tara from 4th Grade Frolics for Monday Made It!

I posted a quick video on Periscope & had a TON of requests to blog about it. I did post the original video from Periscope on my YOUTUBE channel.....yes, I've had a YOUTUBE channel...I just never told anyone about it!

Anywho, I will be uploading all my Periscope videos on my YOUTUBE channel since they only stay up for 24 hours. We are all going to get super busy very quick so I promise, I will try to keep up with these videos.

Back to what I actually made...........

DIY FOCUS WALL LETTERS
Focus Wall with cardboard lettersI originally saw this pin on Pinterest of course. If you are the source or find the link, PLEASE let me know. I could NOT find it for the life of me :o(

I fell in LOVE with this idea & have been thinking about how I wanted to create it in my 1st grade classroom.

Raise your hand if you say this all day long? Um, yes...I do too!

I rarely ever write on any of my white boards. I placed the letters right in front of my class (so I can see the clock), where all the students can see. I have always kept my focus wall right up in front. These letters are perfect & admin can NEVER say I don't display a focus wall...lol.

Focus wall with paper mache letters
I had already purchased hot pink spray paint and black and white striped scrapbook paper. I had a vision you see. Well, as I was walking through Joann Fabrics, I stopped in my tracks when I saw these chalkboard letters. Say what??? They come colored already???? So I was in a dilemma my friends. The store was closing in 20 minutes and I needed to make a decision and fast. I made sure to put all the letters I needed in my cart..you know just in case someone else was in the store trying to spell out "focus". I wasn't completely sure on the chalkboard letters because they needed something else. They just seemed BLAH and I didn't have that Mel D style added....at all.
Then....I saw the wide black and white striped striped washi-tape waving it's arms at me & I ran over! This is IT! I was completely inspired!
You can grab this Heidi Swapp tape at Michael's or Joann Fabrics. If you follow me on IG, then you know I am completely obsessed with black and white stripes & gold and I just HAD to find a way to see this every day in my classroom.

I posted this image above on IG.....you should follow me there if you don't already. I am always redecorating something!

Cardboard letters for focus wall
Above I am showing the back of the letter...obviously. Well...I hope it's obvious. Anyway, the tape wrapped around the back of the letter in order to get this look. I made slits along the black and white stripes for tricky corners just so they looked as smooth as possible. I used the above Scotch tape to adhere them to my wall.

Here is my COMPLETELY UNEDITED video from Periscope. I am not ready nor have the time to get into video editing so please don't give me a thumbs down. Follow me for video notifications though just so I have more than 20 followers...K?
